Kelly Mulkey, Senior Portfolio Manager with Lincoln Property Company in Atlanta, Georgia, has been selected by CRE Insight Journal as one of the 10 to Watch in commercial real estate. This award honors early-career professionals who are actively shaping the real estate industry and making a significant impact within their communities.
Kelly joined Lincoln Property Company in November 2018 and currently oversees a diverse portfolio, including the Echo Street West development, a 19-acre mixed-use development including office, retail, private event, and outdoor spaces, as well as an art gallery and studios in the Midtown submarket of Atlanta. She also oversees several mid-rise office buildings and a regional retail portfolio, totaling approximately 2 million square feet. She manages a team of 17 members across property management and building engineering roles, where she brings a focus on operational excellence and tenant satisfaction.
Kelly plays an integral role in team growth and development, leveraging her mentorship experience to build confidence and guide her team toward success. Additionally, Kelly assists with handling interviewing, hiring and onboarding new management team members for assets, transitioning and training new team members, construction and capital projects, and transition of assets for management. Through partnerships with leasing teams at Colliers, CBRE, and internal teams at Lincoln Property Company, she emphasizes strong relationships and tenant retention strategies, driving profitability and creating value for tenants.
Reflecting on her role, Kelly said, “I take extreme pride in developing my team. I have been blessed to have the best mentors surround me throughout my career and I strongly believe in paying it forward by showing true appreciation and gratitude for those around me through partnerships and relationships throughout the CRE industry. My goal is to lead with positivity, never wavering in my personal morals and values, delivering consistency and accuracy in my work.”
Kelly is equally dedicated to serving her community. She actively volunteers with Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Georgia, serving as a member of the Committee Service Committee and as Vice Chair of the Emerging Professionals Resource Group. She has also contributed to the Lincoln Community Partners Committee at Echo Street West and volunteers as a small group leader at her local church, where she fosters connection and community support. Kelly’s community impact is guided by her belief in giving back, which she views as essential to her role as a leader.
Her leadership was recognized in 2024 with the BOMA Georgia Manager of the Year award for her 2023 achievements. Before her time with Lincoln Property Company, Kelly held property management positions at Colliers International, Genesis Real Estate Advisers, and Brixmor.
On the impact of real estate, Kelly said, “I strongly believe that we are more than what we do in our career. As a leader, my job is to build those around me while leading by example. We will, on average, spend 2,080-plus hours a year at work and by providing a positive, engaging, encouraging environment to those on my team, my valued service partners and throughout my relationships, I am able to positively impact their lives.”
