Leanna Atkins with Prologis Named a 10 to Watch

Leanna Atkins, Real Estate and Customer Experience Manager with Prologis in Raleigh, North Carolina, has been selected by CRE Insight Journal as one of the 10 to Watch in commercial real estate. Excellent Management

At Prologis, Atkins is responsible for the management and customer relations for 4.5 million square foot of industrial product and 96 customers. As the Real Estate and Customer Experience Manager, Atkins manages all aspects of Prologis’ customer experience in the portfolio she serves, from move-in to move-out and everything in between. She also trains team members and vendors throughout the company’s eastern region on the Prologis management software.

​​“Leanna serves as an East Region Facility Management Super User,” explained Jennifer Cooper, Regional Vice President, Real Estate and Customer Experience with Prologis. “She is an expert on the platform, and even trains team members and vendors across the region.”

Atkins joined Prologis’ Baltimore-DC market in February 2020 following the acquisition of Liberty Property Trust and relocated to the Charlotte market in March 2021 and then Raleigh in December 2022 following Prologis’ acquisition of Duke Realty. Atkins helped roll out Yardi integration to the property management team at Prologis. She also was a presenter at the 2019 Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International Conference and Expo, speaking on the topic of industrial real estate education.

​Prior to her role with Prologis, Atkins was a Property Manager with Liberty Property Trust for five years. During this time, Atkins was recognized as a “Rising Star,” a title that is awarded to an employee in the company who demonstrates exceptional promise to the future of the organization. Throughout her career, Atkins has displayed a level of enthusiasm and competency that shows a deep pride in providing the highest level of customer service to her clients.

​​Atkins earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Frostburg State University in 2013. She has been an active member in BOMA Baltimore, BOMA Charlotte, and is currently an active member of BOMA Raleigh-Durham.

Impacting the Community

Atkins has also made significant contributions through community service. She is an active member of her church and has helped coordinate services for over 3,000 guests each Sunday as head usher. She is an active volunteer with numerous charitable organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Loaves & Fishes, and the Special Olympics. Atkins also serves as a Disaster Relief Volunteer with the American Red Cross.

During her time at Frostburg University, Atkins was active in several groups. She was a member of Delta Zeta National Sorority, where she served as vice president of new member education and philanthropy chair. She also served as public relations chair for the Student Government Association, vice president of Colleges Against Cancer was a Judicial Board Panel member.
