Many dietary recommendations for children are the same for adults. Children should have a diet with whole grains, fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy products and lean proteins. While the kinds of nutritious food do not differ greatly from that of adults, Jerlyn offers helpful food options for children to their caretakers that will encourage healthy food consumption.
