The recording of a national webinar on COVID-19 for commercial real estate professionals is now available for anyone interested. The one-hour national webinar was conducted through a partnership between the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Georgia and the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC). The webinar explores the critical role property and facility managers can play in preventing the spread of infectious disease within buildings.

During the webinar, Krystle Johnson, RN, MSN, CIC, Infection Prevention Manager with Emory Ambulatory Clinics and ASC, Office of Quality at Emory Healthcare, shares key details real estate professionals need to know about COVID-19, the threat it poses, infectious control basics, and more. Krystle also answers several questions of importance to the operation and management of buildings.

“This webinar brings together individuals from the real estate and healthcare communities throughout the nation – from Georgia to California, and New York to Alaska – to learn about COVID-19 and to explore their role in helping decrease the spread of infectious disease,” says Gabriel Eckert, FASAE, CAE, BOMA Georgia Chief Executive Officer. “Releasing the webinar recording ensures that many more real estate professionals can benefit from this important educational information.”
